Crumblehold Privacy Policy

At a glance

  • Crumblehold shows ads through Google AdMob: an optional reward video to double a win's gold and bricks, and occasional full-screen ads between duels.
  • The optional “Remove ads” purchase is processed by Google Play; we never see your payment details.
  • To serve ads, Google uses a device advertising ID and approximate (IP-based) location.
  • No sign-up and no game server: your castle, heroes and progress are saved only on your device.
  • Rival Lords are AI opponents. There is no chat and no contact with other players.
  • In the EEA, UK, Switzerland and US privacy-law states you're asked before personalised ads.
  • Intended for players aged 13 and up; not a children's app.

What we collect ourselves

Nothing. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or location, you do not need an account to play, and the game has no server of ours to send data to.

Your game progress (heroes, castle, trophies, gold, bricks, settings) is saved on your device only.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows optional reward videos (when you choose to double a victory's rewards) and, from the sixth rival on, an occasional full-screen ad between duels. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, app set ID, IP address (used to estimate your approximate location), device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostic data to serve, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and in US states with privacy laws, the game asks for your consent or offers you a choice through Google's consent message before personalised ads are used; you can change it later under Settings → Privacy options. Our ad requests are marked for a teen-and-up audience (content rating T). You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device's Google settings. Purchases

The optional “Remove ads” purchase is processed by Google Play. We never see your payment details. The game receives a purchase confirmation (product, order identifier) to deliver it and to restore it after a reinstall (Settings → Restore purchases).

Ratings

After a few wins the game may ask Google Play to show its standard review card. That card is run entirely by Google Play; we only see the public review if you post one.

How long data is kept

Progress on your device is kept until you uninstall the game or clear its data. We hold no other data about you. Advertising data is kept by Google according to its policies.

Your choices and rights

Change ad consent: Settings → Privacy options in the game (shown where it applies), or opt out of personalised ads in your device's Google settings.

Delete your data: uninstall the game or clear its app data; that removes everything the game stored. Data Google holds for ads can be managed in your Google account and device settings.

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your data. Contact us to exercise them. We do not sell your personal information. Ad and purchase traffic uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

Children

Crumblehold is intended for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game, contact us.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, mention it in the game's update notes.
