Garland Sort Privacy Policy

At a glance

  • Garland Sort shows ads through Google AdMob: optional reward videos when you tap a FREE ▶ button, and occasional full-screen ads between later levels.
  • In-app purchases are processed by Google Play; we never see your payment details.
  • To serve ads, Google uses a device advertising ID and approximate (IP-based) location.
  • No sign-up and no account. We run no server for the game: your progress stays on your device.
  • No names, emails, contacts, photos or precise location.
  • In the EEA, UK, Switzerland and US privacy-law states you're asked before personalised ads.
  • Intended for players aged 13 and up; not a children's app.

What we collect ourselves

Nothing that identifies you. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and you do not need an account to play.

Your game progress (levels, coins, boosters, settings) is saved only on your device. Garland Sort has no game server of its own.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows optional reward videos (for example double coins or a free booster, only when you tap a FREE ▶ button) and, between levels from level 10 on, occasional full-screen ads (at most one every three levels and every few minutes). AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, app set ID, IP address (used to estimate your approximate location), device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostic data to serve, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and in US states with privacy laws, the game asks for your consent or offers you a choice through Google's consent message before personalised ads are used; you can change it later under Settings → Privacy choices. Our ad requests are marked for a teen-and-up audience (content rating T). You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device's Google settings. Purchases

The optional “Remove ads” purchase is processed by Google Play. We never see your payment details. The game receives a purchase confirmation (product, order identifier) to deliver it and to restore it after a reinstall.

How long data is kept

Progress on your device is kept until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Advertising data is kept by Google according to its policies.

Your choices and rights

Change ad consent: Settings → Privacy choices in the game (shown where it applies), or opt out of personalised ads in your device's Google settings.

Delete your data: uninstalling the game or clearing its data in your phone's settings deletes everything the game stores. We hold no copy. For data held by Google for advertising, use your Google account and device settings, or contact us and we will help.

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your data. Contact us to exercise them. We do not sell your personal information. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

Children

Garland Sort is intended for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game, contact us.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, mention it in the game's update notes.
