What we collect ourselves
Nothing that identifies you. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and you do not need an account or a login to play.
Your game progress (levels and advent calendar doors completed, coins, wrapping papers, hints and settings) is saved only on your device, in the game's local storage. The game has no server of its own, and uninstalling it deletes this data. The advent calendar reads your device's date to decide which doors are open; the date never leaves your device.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows reward videos only when you choose to watch one, for example for an extra hint, to skip a level or to double the coins for a packed box. It shows no banner ads and no full-screen ads between levels. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, app set ID, IP address (used to estimate your approximate location), device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostic data to serve, measure and limit ads, for analytics and to prevent fraud. Ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience.
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and in US states with privacy laws, the game asks for your consent or offers you a choice through Google's consent message (UMP) before personalised ads are used. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device's Google settings, and clearing the game's data shows the consent message again. Gameplay analytics (GameAnalytics)
To understand how the game is played and to tune difficulty and fix bugs, the game sends gameplay events to GameAnalytics: a random identifier created on your device at first launch (not your advertising ID), session start and length, device model and OS version, progression (levels and advent doors started and completed, time taken), coins earned and spent, and when a reward video is offered, shown or completed. GameAnalytics derives your approximate country from your IP address. This data is used only for analytics. GameAnalytics' policy: gameanalytics.com/privacy.
How long data is kept
Progress on your device is kept until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Analytics events are kept by GameAnalytics according to its retention policy and are not linked to your name or email. Advertising data is kept by Google according to its policies.
Your choices and rights
Ad choices: opt out of personalised ads or reset your advertising ID in your device's Google settings.
Delete your data: uninstalling the game or clearing its data in your phone's settings deletes everything the game stores. We hold no copy. For analytics or advertising data, email us a deletion request and we will help.
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your data. Contact us to exercise them. We do not sell your personal information. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Children
Christmas Packing: Gift Wrap is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game, contact us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, mention it in the game's update notes.
